I cried while watching the trailer of The Lion King

So yeah, I have to admit something to y‘all. I’m pretty emotional and this showed pretty recently, like fifteen minutes ago. I’m absolutely in love with The Lion King, and can’t wait for the remake coming out this July. The new movie must live up to it’s predecessor, and I was afraid that won’t happen.

But I can promise you one thing: The remake will be a hit. JUST LOOK AT THIS NEW TRAILER!

The animals all look so real, Simba is really cute, Scar is still creepy AF and Timon and Pumbaa are, well, Timon and Pumbaa. I’m speechless, honestly. Tears, laughs and goosebumps: All were there while watching this trailer. And it’s not even 2 minutes of the final movie?!

Let’s analyze: The story seems the same. We have all the animals that previously were there, only voiced by different people (Except for Mufasa, GO JAMES EARL JONES!). The animals look way too real: Animation has come a far way from the original to this. Timon and Pumbaa still sing and Scar still has his scar (DUH).

AND THE MUSIC!! The goosebumps definitely came from the music, it’s like all emotions are put into one song.

So, this was my pretty messy blog post about the new Lion King trailer but I guess it shows my excitement 😉
