  • Hey guys! So I’ve been making these blogposts since July and have the feeling that you don’t know that much from me. I want to change this, so I’ve found a couple of questions to answer!

    Personal
What’s the last song you listened to?
As I told you in this post, I like to listen to songs from the movies. That’s not all I listen to though, but yes, the last song I listened to was I just can’t wait to be king from The lion king.

Name three things that make you happy.
I really like being with friends, they always cheer me up. Chicken McNuggets do too and yes, movies do!

    Who’s someone you miss?
My grandpa passed away 2,5 years ago and I do really miss him. He was a great person to be around and loved his grandkids.

What’s something that’s currently worrying you?
School has started again and with deadlines coming up sooner than I’d expect, I’m kinda worrying over those. I’ve got 3+ weeks left untill the first deadline though.

    Confess something
I don’t like chocolate. I think it stinks. Sorry not sorry.

What did you want to be when you were little?
At first I wanted to be a firefighter – just because my brother said he wanted too. Later on I really aspired to be a baker, until I found out that they have to get up really early in the morning. I’ve considered primary school teacher too.

What do you want to be now?
I’m currently studying Communication and Multimedia Design and I’m hoping I can work in the media later. Working on movies seems great too! It’s just a really broad study so I could go any way.

    What’s your height?
People in the Netherlands are generally seen as tall, but I’m not. I’m 1,54 m (5″1′) which is consired like really small.

If you could change one thing about your appearance, what would it be?
Considering the question above: Yes, my height. My face looks kinda childish and so does my body. If I were a little taller (10 cm) I would be happier because I’d look more like the adult that I am.

    What’s your favorite band?

Without a doubt: Coldplay! The first concert I’ve ever been to was Coldplay in 2016. Chris Martin is such an energetic guy with a great voice.

    What’s your favorite food?
I LOVE Italy and Italian food. You can wake me up at anytime for pasta! (Pizza’s good, too!)

What books on your shelf are begging to be read?
I’ve bought some new ones a month ago, and there’s this one book called It only happens in the movies by Holly Bourne which I can’t wait to read! It seems like the perfect book for me, considering my love for movies.

    What’s on your bucketlist?
I don’t have a bucketlist, but there are some things that I would really like to do or have in my life. I love traveling so there a lots of countries on this list. Another thing is visiting a movieset where people are filming and having my name in the credits of a movie. The last one seems a little bit too unrealistic though. Oh, and I would love to go to a movie premiere and the Cannes filmfestival. And the Oscars. (Damn, too many impossible things…)

What’s the strangest thing you believed as a child?
I always thought that children were born with clothes on. I never saw a picture of a baby without clothes, so it seemed nothing but normal.

What would be the title of your biography?
I guess it would be something that has got something to do with the fact that I’m little. At this point I really don’t know though.

Which language would you like to speak?
I would LOVE to speak fluent Italian. Italy’s the county I went to the most times, it’s my favorite holiday country. The only problem is that most people outside of the big cities don’t speak English, so communication can be hard. Io amo Italiano!

How many countries have you been to?
The counties where I’ve been at least one day and night: The Netherlands (duh), Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, Spain, Czech Republic, Norway and Greece. Never been outside of Europe, but I’m hoping to have been soon!

Why did you start this blog?
I like to write and I wanted to improve my English. The connection with a blog about movies was made very fast, as I love movies. I wouldn’t know anything else to blog about. Oh, and I have started a blog a few years ago, but didn’t set through. I felt this was the right moment to take things seriously.

What do you hope to achieve with this blog?
I would love to have fans that always read my blogs. It would be nice if I had more frequent readers. Oh and I’m very secretly hoping to get invited to a movie premiere, but that can only be something I can dream of.

    What’s your favorite blog?
I have another thing to confess: I don’t read that many blogs. Actually only one, the blog of my friend Anna. She actually convinced me to start blogging!

How did you come up with the name of your blog?
I had trouble coming up with a name. Amenic was an idea, nottingchill was an idea and little miss chick flick was the final idea. I’m little, I’m a girl and I like chick flicks. Also, a little pun regarding the movie Little Miss Sunshine.

    Who’s your celebrity crush?
Lately, with movies like To all the boys I’ve loved before and Sierra Burgess is a loser: Noah Centineo. And I absolutely adore Eddie Redmayne. And Timothée Chalamet is very cute too!

    Who’s your favorite actor?
Well, Eddie Redmayne, haha! I love the way he acts in every movie. He’s adorable in Fantastic Beasts, the exact right actor to play Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything and his acting in Les Miserables is amazing.

    Who’s your favorite actress?
This is a harder question. I guess Emma Stone? Easy A was really funny, but she can act good in serious movie like La La Land too.

    What’s your favorite movie?
I can’t choose between a few: The Lion King, Les miserables, High school musical and lots more.

What was your favorite movie growing up?
I remember watching Dumbo on VHS growing up, and I watched it a loooot. I haven’t seen it since, but I guess this was my favorite.

If you were one a deserted island and you could only bring one favorite snack and 3 favorite movies, what would it be?
Probably an infinite amount of Chicken McNuggets with Les Mis, High School Musical 3 and The Lion King.
