  • Welcome in 2021! Let’s hope we’ll get to see some awesome movies in the cinema this year – something I truly missed in 2020. I normally don’t make any New Year’s Resolutions, but there’s one exception this year: my blog. There are a few new exciting things I can’t wait to tell you about!

    Expanding Little Miss Chick Flick

Since the very beginning (and the years before), I have always said that I love watching movies. But there’s one thing I have never talked about: TV shows. And I have seen quite a few, actually… So from now on, I’ll be blogging not only about cinema but also about TV shows and maybe even some other forms of entertainment! The one thing I know for sure is that I’ll be reviewing seasons I watch on my Instagram. Be sure to look out for a blog post about some shows I’ve seen.

    New year, new website

You might have noticed that Little Miss Chick Flick looks different than before. That’s because the previous template wasn’t really to my taste and didn’t quite fit the theme ‘movies’. So I’ve been working on a completely new template, more to my personal taste. If you see any things you don’t like, don’t hesitate to contact me! I always love getting feedback. But you’ll still find this website right here, at

    Something personal

There’s one more thing I’m quite excited about: in the coming 6 months, I’ll be learning more about writing and arts. My study is normally focused on design and concepting, and I have been missing the writing part a bit. That’s going to change! I have chosen to follow a minor focussed on art, culture and lifestyle storytelling. Let’s see if I will be learning things I can use here too!

    My watchlist

If you’re following me on my Instagram, you’ll probably know that it mostly consists of small reviews. But the thing is – I always forget to post whenever I’ve seen a movie. If you want to take a look at all the movies I’ll be watching this year, be sure to follow me on Letterboxd. There’ll be no text but I will post a grade whenever I have seen something.

I am very excited about this year, are you too?
